Research interest The overall goal of my research is to dissect key immunoregulatory mechanisms underlying infectious and autoimmune diseases with the ultimate objective to translate new biological knowledge into safer and more effective host-centered therapeutics. Currently, my research projects are specifically focused on the study of the host immune response against Clostridium difficile and Helicobacter pylori.
